The Chasm of the Cogitovore is a pit in the Underdark beneath Scandshar. According to Lord Sepsis, it contains an active gate to the Far Realm, and acts as a connection to the domain of the Esteemed and Omniscient Peacock Lord.

The Shields of the Sorrowfell apparently passed this cursed place when traveling the tunnels beneath Scandshar to fight Lord Oculus and rescue Darstina Tallcrippler, so it should be easy to find again.
