Once a pleasant, if rustic, forest town of eladrin and elves, ruined Solaeque was sacked by orcs over a century ago; its survivors either fled or were sold as slaves in Scandshar.

The Thousand Eyes tribe overtook the settlement, renaming it “Ufthak” and living there until the Shields of the Sorrowfell displaced them.

The surviving elves resettled elsewhere, although the bulk of them now live in Vonseloth.
