A renegade dark elf in a northern wood of the Sorrowfell Plains, the Spider Wasp Witch is a wizard and herbalist of some skill, usually providing midwife services to any who travel her way.

The Shields of the Sorrowfell encountered her as part of the plot by Opal and her coven to kidnap Ekaterina — the Spider Wasp Witch was tasked with taking care of Ekaterina’s simulacrum until the Shields arrived, then explaining that they must sleep to save her in dreams. (It is likely fortunate that they did not believe that for a moment.)

Since Opal was slain, the Spider Wasp Witch is presumably out from under the evil witches’ coven, and can return to her usual activities.
