Often referred to as the leader of Sigil, it is unclear if the Lady of Pain is subject or monarch, jailer or jailed, goddess or mortal. (However, it is known that worshiping her is one of the few ways to swiftly draw her ire.)

There are many rumors surrounding her, but the facts inform us that she floats through Sigil’s streets and those who displease her either disappear or wind up in the dead-book.
