The Shields of the Sorrowfell met Orhan in Pottsdam. Although he has the manner of a sage from distant ’Ichi, he revealed he is actually an ancient gold dragon. He is usually removed from the world, guarding his charge — the not-quite-dead heart of a Primordial. He wanted to visit the Shields during one of his wakeful periods, and Bahamut was kind enough to shoulder his burden so that he could do so.

He has grown strange with so many long years dreaming, seeing things future and past, things that were and things that might be.
