Not much is known about Lord Book, other than he is a Revenant and (presumably) a member of the noble house known as House Gorupa. He works for the Illustrious Menagerie of Peacocks, although his precise job is unknown. He acts as a street boss, and as he lairs in one of their safehouses, he probably guards it from intruders.

A quiet man, Lord Book largely keeps to himself, performing his reanimation experiments. Among other experiments, he is known to have a flesh golem on hand, as well as a psychically active brain in a jar.
